It’s time for our Guest PYPEin. This week we’re featuring a smart, sassy, witty, author, mom, actor and producer, Jill Kopelman Kargman. A born and bred New Yorker, Kargman, age 40 (yes, she embraces her real age), is not afraid to dish about life on the Upper East Side.

Kargman graduated in three years with honors from Yale University where she was an art history major. Kargman then attended the British America Drama Academy (BADA) at Stanford and studied with Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason.

After graduating in 1995, Kargman started her writing career in the magazine world as an assistant and has since written more than 200 articles for publications including Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Condé Nast Traveler, Departures and Allure. When she became a mom, Kargman began writing novels to give her more flexibility to be home with her three children: Sadie, Ivy, and Fletch. She is a New York Times best-selling author of multiple books, including “The Ex-Mrs. Hedgefund,” “Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut,” and “Momzillas.”

Jill is the creator, writer, producer and star of “Odd Mom Out” – a Bravo network, scripted comedy television show, about life and motherhood on the Upper East Side in NYC, in which she plays a satirical version of herself.
